Christian Spiritual Journey: 10 Guidelines for a Safe Trip!

Christian Spiritual Journey: 10 Guidelines for a Safe Trip!

Christian spiritual journey is the activities you do every day through Jesus Christ with the strong determination to gain Heaven.

Today’s sermon would broaden your knowledge about Christian spiritual journey and how to survive the rough path.

Types of Spiritual Journey

There are two types of spiritual journey;

1. Christ-like Spiritual Journey

This journey requires constant obedience to the instructions of the Holy Spirit and the use of Bible as the spiritual map.

Jesus says: “Enter by the narrow gate…Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

2. Demonic Spiritual Journey

Devil is the instructor of this course. Example of such practices include; conjure of spirits, astral projection, witchcraft, bloody rituals etc.

Jesus warned: “…for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.” (Matthew 7:13)

When Does a Spiritual Journey Starts?

It starts from the ‘womb’ when God forms your body, soul and spirit. We are spiritually formed, so everything that happens in the physical realm has a spiritual implication.

Your spiritual journey starts when you don’t know the difference between good and bad and the Angel of the LORD have the responsibility to guide you.

Jesus says: “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)

But, the presence of God’s Angel in your life may be short-lived if your parents were not faithful to the LORD and at that moment the Devil takes over the spiritual journey.

I grew up to know that the Devil’s spiritual journey I followed could not give me eternal rest so I quit and followed Jesus Christ.

How to Start a Christian Spiritual Journey?

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”

The following steps are vital for you to enjoy a successful trip with the LORD:

1. Quit the Devil

2. Come to Jesus Christ

3. Confess your sins to the LORD

4. Be baptised

5. Read your Bible daily and Meditate the Word of God

6. Live an obedient life as directed by the LORD

7. Share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus with your friends.

When you follow the seven steps above, then your Christian spiritual journey will start on a solid rocky foundation.

What Happens on a Christian Spiritual Journey?

I would sincerely tell you the truth that the spiritual journey with Jesus Christ is not a smooth one. There is time to climb the steep mountains, move through the thick forest and stay at the dry and wet valleys before proceeding on the rough narrow path.

Jesus says: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

There is bad times, good seasons, trials and temptations. Time to mourn and time to give birth. So, don’t be discouraged!

Matthew chapter 10 verse 16 says: “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

Why is the Christian Journey a Rough One?

You have made the right choice by becoming a Christian. But, don’t turn back when you go through the tough part of the spiritual journey.

Many people walk through the demonic spiritual journey because they are deceived with sweet things of this world which are short-lived. And, unfortunately the end of their journey leads to hell fire.

Christians spiritual journey is a rough one on earth due to the presence of the Devil who strive to attack and discourage us from getting to Heaven.

Read Revelation chapter 12 to have a deep spiritual understanding for the reason Christian spiritual journey is tougher than the demonic path.

And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation 12:17)

Who is Jesus and What is the Truth about Christ?

Who is Jesus and What is the Truth about Christ?

Jesus is not an incarnate of the Almighty GOD as speculated by the false teachers. They blasphemed against the LORD. So, who is Jesus? The response is not ambiguous; Jesus referred to GOD as His Father in His speech and in more than two occasions the LORD announced Jesus Christ publicly as His Son. So, how could you believe the false teaching of the incarnation or holy trinity?

Today’s sermon about ‘who is Jesus’ is a sensitive one which the Devil uses to mislead people, but I would share the truth about Jesus Christ with you through the authority of the LORD upon me.

In one of the great visions the LORD revealed to me to preach to the world about the Final Judgement;

“I saw two groups with their respective leader in the front. GOD in His Majesty said to the group on the left: “The Devil has been doing bad so he is judged to the lake of fire”. Instantly, the Devil and his members were handcuffed automatically, shaking their bowed heads in sorrow and hopelessness.

The LORD spoke to the group on the right and said: “Jesus has been doing good so He is Victorious”. There was a great immeasurable Joy, dancing, clapping and songs of victory in the midst of Jesus and his members.”

The vision I narrated above shows that Jesus is not equal to the LORD and it emphasizes the scriptural facts that Jesus is a servant of GOD and the LORD would forever be His Master.

Jesus says: “You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28)

When Was Jesus Born?

Jesus’ date of birth was not mentioned in the Bible, but most biblical scholars assume a year of birth between 6 and 4 BC. Note that the birthday of Jesus is not the Christmas day. 25th of December is a day for idolatrous festival which the papacy thought fixing the same day as Christmas celebration could attract the idol worshippers to the church. So, no record is available to tell us the exact day Jesus was born!

Where Was Jesus’ Place of Birth?

The book of Luke chapter 2 states that Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea. And he grew up in Nazareth of Galilee so, Jesus was a Galilean.

What Are Names of Jesus?

“Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.”

“He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.”” (Luke 1:30-32)

The LORD also announced Jesus’ identity to the people as recorded in the book of Matthew chapter 3 verse 16 and 17: “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; … And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying,This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Yeshua is Jesus’ name in Hebrew (which means “the Lord is salvation.”) and the Greek transliteration of Yeshua was Iesous, and was transliterated into Latin as Iesus and later became the English name, Jesus.

What is the Difference Between Jesus and Christ?

Christ was not originally a name but a title derived from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), which translates to the Hebrew term meshiah and English as Messiah, meaning “the anointed one”.

So, ‘Christ’ qualifies the name of Jesus as the Anointed Messiah sent for our salvation.

Who is the Father of Jesus Christ?

The only One without an explicit origin is GOD and when you ask who is Jesus, it is important to know His Father. And, Jesus told us several times that His Father is no one other than Jehovah, the Almighty GOD in Heaven.

Jesus never mentioned Joseph as His Father (because Joseph was a caretaker) and He refused to celebrate Mary as His mother because she was a ‘vessel’. So, beware of churches that celebrate ‘Mary – mother of Jesus’.

Listen to Jesus in this bible reference: “Then one said to Him, “Look, your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You… And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:46-50)

Does Jesus Have a Wife?

If there are four different books about the events of Jesus Christ when on earth and none mentioned Jesus’ wife then it would be wrong for you to believe anyone coming up with a conspiracy after 2000 years.

I felt bad when I heard about the book written by Simcha and Barrie.  And I knew it’s all about the effort of the devil to distract us with unnecessary argument.

When Matthew was mentioning the women ministering to Jesus in Matthew chapter 27 verse 56, he did not mention anyone as Jesus’ wife. So, why should you believe the book of someone or a group of people who were not there when Jesus was on earth?

Prophecy that Proves that Jesus is the Messiah

I would love to make reference to the prophecy of prophet Isaiah read by Jesus in the synagogue:

“And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”” (Luke 4:17-21, Isaiah 61:1)

7 Major Mission of Jesus Christ to the World?

1. To change our old orientation about life.

2. The saviour who teaches us the best lifestyle to live.

3. To show us God’s passion and love for our salvation.

4. Paid the last sacrifice for cleansing the sins of all sinners.

5. Reconcile our relationship with the LORD.

6. Destruction of Devil’s bondage in our lives.

7. Manifest the Power of Resurrection for us to gain eternal life in Heaven.

Praise God-Hallelujah!

I believe today’s sermon explains who is Jesus and his role on earth. So, don’t be deceived by the evil conspiracy of the holy trinity in the church.

In every sacrificial rite there is a giver and a receiver, I want you to always ask those false teachers that; “who accepts the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross if GOD who ought to be the receiver is the ‘sacrificial lamb’?

Jesus specifically tells us His status and functions which are absolutely different from the LORD. Read the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the Bible for more understanding.

I implore you to obey the teachings of Jesus Christ because the only way to enjoy eternal heaven is to stay firm in a steady relationship with the Almighty LORD.

12 Things to Know About Speaking in Tongues!

12 Things to Know About Speaking in Tongues!

To know about speaking in tongues is like acquiring a knowledge that tends towards infinity. Have you been side-lined in the church because you can’t speak in tongues? Are you confused about the subject matter? Or you are getting frustrated about Christianity because of this spiritual gift? Don’t worry!

Today’s sermon would clear the confusion and open your mind to understand the cogent facts to know about speaking in tongues.

What is Speaking in Tongues?

Speaking in tongues can be a temporary sign used by God upon you to show the unbelievers that you are from the LORD. It can also be a spiritual gift which has a permanent tendency in you to speak an untaught foreign language.

Controversy About Gift of Tongues

Many false teachings are everywhere about the gift of speaking in tongues and I am also careful not to contribute to the heresies online.

Every word I share with you today is based on the sincere content and context of the subject matter in the Bible coupled with my non-conflicting personal experience with the LORD.

Note the following truth:

1. Speaking in tongues is solely controlled by the Spirit of the LORD.

2. There is nothing like meaningless language; you either speak an earthly meaningful language or heavenly one interpreted for you by the Holy Spirit. Don’t forget that the source of language starts from heaven. QUOTE Tower of Babel

3. If you speak and there is neither a human interpreter nor the divine Interpreter, it is wise to shut up so you won’t run into brain trouble.

4. It is absolutely wrong and ungodly to go learn ‘speaking in tongues’ in a school of theology or under the supervision of anyone.

5. The LORD chooses who would posses the gift, so it is not a mandatory ticket for everyone. However, it is not a factor for your entry into heaven.

12 Revelations to Know About Speaking in Tongues

1. The speaking in tongues on the day of Pentecost were real languages of some tribes.

“Then they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?”” (Act 2:7-8)

2. Speaking in tongues is a sign from the LORD, you can’t acquire it through the church doctrine or School of theology.

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.” (Mark 16:17)

3. None of the disciples of Jesus who experienced the Day of Pentecost made a sermon for compulsory “speaking in tongue”.

4. Paul mentioned another dimension of speaking in tongues which Apostle Peter referred to as confusing.

Paul says: “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.” (First Corinthians 14:2)

Apostle Peter referred to Paul’s statement: “as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” (Second Peter 3:16)

5. I authoritatively share with you that Devil hears speaking in tongues, so don’t be deceived!

6. There are many false teachings about this topic, so don’t be desperate about this spiritual gift.

7. Speak in tongues is NOT the mandatory sign to show spiritual baptism. Many occurrences of spirit-filling without speaking in tongues were recorded. Please read: Act chapter 2:37-42; 8:26-40; 9:1-19; 13:44-52; 16:11-15; 16:25-34; 17:1-10a; 17:10b-15; 17:16-33; 18:1-11; and Act chapter 18:24-28

8. This spiritual gift is not a supremacy to others. Read First Corinthians chapter 12 verse 7 to 11.

9. It is an act of disorderliness when everyone is speaking in tongues in the church without any interpreter. (First Corinthians 14:26-29)

10. Paul’s wish is for everyone to speak in tongues and that is not God’s commandment. (First Corinthians 14:5)

11. When the Holy Spirit controls your private fellowship to the Lord, it is possible your tongue switches from the language you know to an unknown one. I experienced such, it is real! (First Corinthians 14:2)

12. Speaking in tongues was the first sign proving the evidence of Spirit-filled but it was not the only sign approved by the LORD.

It is obvious to know about speaking in tongues that it is utterance given by the LORD and not through learning a language sequence or saying rubbish. It is good to note that no misconception of Paul’s statement shall justify the bastardized model of speaking in tongues in our generation.

I speak in tongues and can interpret as well but I dear not abuse the gift if there is no inspiration from the Holy Spirit.

I encourage you to be focused in the LORD and appreciate the spiritual gift He gives to you. Please, don’t be desperate to speak in tongues because it might put you in more spiritual and psychological troubles you don’t deserve.

What the Salvation of Jesus Christ Cannot Do?

Please be cautious of many false preachers who tell you that you have nothing to do than to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour.

They may tell you that whatever you do would not stop you from entering heaven…They misinterpret many statements of Paul and quote some Old Testament verses which are not relevant for the New Testament era. Be careful!

The salvation of the LORD through Jesus Christ does not agree to the following:

1. Living a sinful life after confessing Jesus Christ as Lord.

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit…

if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.” (Hebrew 6:4-6)

2. Using unholy powers or worldly features for the propagation of the Gospel.

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’”

“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:22-23)

3. Inconsistent relationship with the LORD.

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.”

“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)

4. Christians who claimed that this dispensation of grace gives them eternal security despite their active careless lifestyle.

Paul whom some Christians quote for their carelessness says:

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2)

The salvation of the LORD through Jesus Christ would make you free from the bondage of sin and enjoy seamless relationship with the LORD.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
