Today’s message explains some signs you need to watch out for to make it easy for you to distinguish the manifestations of evil spirits from the Holy Spirit.

10 Signs that Someone is Controlled by Demons

1. Drastic Personality Changes

One of most alarming signs that someone’s soul may be controlled by demons is the occurrence of drastic personality changes. These changes often manifest suddenly and without a clear explanation, leaving friends and family bewildered by the stark contrast in behavior.

For instance, a person who is typically calm and composed may begin to exhibit extreme aggression, lashing out without provocation. Similarly, an individual known for their cheerful disposition might suddenly become overwhelmed by profound sadness or irrational fear.

These drastic personality changes are distinct from ordinary mood swings or emotional fluctuations that can result from stress, fatigue, or other everyday factors.

2. Unexplained Physical Ailments

One of the more alarming indicators that an individual is controlled by demons is the presence of unexplained physical ailments. These symptoms often manifest as chronic pain, fatigue, or recurring illness that lacks a medical explanation.

It’s crucial to note that these physical ailments should first be thoroughly examined by healthcare professionals to rule out any possible medical conditions. Only after exhaustive medical evaluations fail to provide a diagnosis should one consider the possibility of demonic influence.

3. Love for Religious Materialism

This was common among many prophets and pastors in the Christendom. ‘Powerful’ people controlled by demons always want to use ‘mediums’ during prayers. They want to connect to the ‘supernatural’ through materialism such as candles, water, oil, perfumes, rods, handkerchief, soap, rosary and the likes.

Everyone controlled by demons practices idolatry in a subtle way because they find it impossible to pray and worship God without holding a material or reciting repeated words in the form of speaking in tongues.

I don’t say speaking in tongue is demonic but if no one is interpreting the tongues you better watch out if the languages are from the demonic realms. John warned us to test all spirit!

4. Supernatural Abilities or Knowledge

This ability by someone controlled by demons is very confusing with someone controlled by the Holy Spirit. But don’t be confused because Jesus Christ says that by their fruits you shall know them.

Many false prophets and pastors fall in this category. They can perform many miracles. They can give detailed information about distant events, personal details of strangers, or insights into complex subjects without any prior learning or experience.

But it was under the influence of the demons. A typical example is the magicians performing miracles just as Moses did before the king.

5. Cause Disorderliness in midst of Saints

People controlled by demons are always uncomfortable amid children of God praying or gathering for bible studies. So, they always put up malicious behavior, cause disrespect and all forms of scenarios that could cause chaos in the holy gathering.

Watch out for people who speak in tongues in the gathering without edification causing confusion and disorderliness. It may amaze you that that is the order of the day in many churches today and it is a signal to know the numbers of demon in their midst.

6. Auditory Hallucinations

Hearing voices that others cannot perceive, especially those that command harmful actions, is a strong indication of demonic influence. These voices often instill fear or encourage self-destructive behavior.

7. Visual Hallucinations

Seeing disturbing images or entities that are not visible to others can also be a sign of demonic presence. These visions may be terrifying and persistent, impacting the individual’s mental state.

8. Sudden Changes in Voice

A significant alteration in one’s voice, including speaking in different tones or languages unknown to the person, can signal demonic possession. This change is often accompanied by an aggressive demeanor.

Demonstrating strength far beyond normal human capability, especially during episodes of rage or distress, is a classic sign of someone controlled by demons.

Most of them are highly seductive with the motive of polluting the hearts of people. They enslave those who respect them and very selfish and greedy in character.

Jesus Christ says: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves…A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit…Therefore by their fruits you will know them. (Matthew 7:15-20)

You can identify people controlled by demons through the points I mentioned above, and you have to be watchful so that you can be safe.

Worship is the spiritual meal you can offer the LORD, that can make HIM happy. Worship God means creating a spiritual atmosphere of intimacy with the LORD to express your loyalty and respect without lip or eye-service.

Today’s message will explain the significance of Christian worship, how to worship God and the benefits you get when you adore the LORD regularly.

What Does it Mean to Worship God?

Whenever I say: “LORD, I worship You.” I experience an automation of my heart opening the reverence door of my soul to respect and acknowledge GOD as the only Master of my life and the only Creator of all creations.

I worship God everywhere, and it saves me from falling into temptations too.

The book of Revelation chapter 4 verse 10 and 11 says: “the twenty-four elders fall before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”

To worship God means to connect your soul and spirit to God’s presence, surrender everything about you and acknowledging HIM as the One and Only GOD.

4 Unique Ways to Worship GOD as a Christian!

Jesus Christ says: “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4: 23-24)

The context of the passage above if you read the earlier verses shows that it does not matter where your church is located, and genuine worship has nothing to do with a gathering of the hypocrites.

The following steps of worship must be done in spirit and truth to the LORD.

1. Prayer of Worship

Prayer is about communication so don’t think that it’s all about asking for your needs from the LORD. You can worship God through your prayer time by expressing gratitude to the LORD.

2. Bible Study for Worship

There are some scriptures in the Bible that describe the mighty deeds of the LORD both in the Old and New Testaments, you can’t study such passages with all your heart and remain in an earthly realm.

Meditating the Word of God is a powerful way to enjoy your worship to the LORD.

3. Worship through Music

I can’t overemphasize the power of music in worshiping the King of kings because it is a heavenly practice.

Note: There are many demonic songs everywhere you go to in our generation, so make sure you scrutinize the lyrics of every song you sing with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Music is a powerful way to worship God and you will get connected to the LORD easily. I can’t count how many times I do this daily and truly it’s my secret to stability in the LORD, else I would have joined the bad gangs on the street.

4. Garden of Worship

Take a walk to the seashores, hill, the spring, the valley or any natural environment. You will understand how to worship God when you see nature in manifestation through the mighty Hands of the LORD. This is the main worship style of Jesus Christ when on earth. Read the book of Luke chapter 6 verse 12.  

The righteous ways of Christian worship distinguish us from those that worship things of this world and the devil.

9 Ways to Express Adoration to the LORD

Trust me, you will always have a wonderful worship experience when you express your gratitude in words or songs to the LORD through your mother tongue.

Hmm, you may find yourself in spiritual trouble if you worship God in languages, you don’t understand very well or the so-called false doctrine of “mandatory speaking in tongues.”

Worship expressions can be done through three major modes: your voice, posture, and hands:

1. Speaking

2. Shouting

3. Singing

4. Bowing

5. Standing

6. Dancing

7. Playing Instruments

8. Clapping and

9. Lifting Hands

So, don’t be disenfranchised by any form of church doctrine that limits you on the type of posture to worship God.

While worshiping God brings numerous benefits, refusing to worship Him can have detrimental consequences. Here are some of the dangers for those who choose not to worship God:

1. Spiritual Dryness

Without worship, your spiritual life can become dry and stagnant. You may feel disconnected from God and struggle to experience His presence.

2. Idolatry

When you refuse to worship God, you may inadvertently turn to other things or people to fill the void in your heart. This can lead to idolatry, where you place your trust and devotion in something other than God.

3. Loss of Salvation

Worship helps you to maintain an eternal salvation, reminding you of God’s sovereignty and goodness. Without worship, you may lose sight of God’s plans and purposes for your life.

Atonement of Jesus: 10 Benefits and the Power for Your Life

Atonement of Jesus Christ was the final New Testament plan of the Almighty LORD to put an end to the separation between HIM and everyone because the Old Testament sacrifices were not sustainable.

Have you ever thought of permanent freedom from sin? Did you find it difficult to believe that GOD can relate to you like a Father to His child? Today’s message about atonement of Jesus Christ will broaden your spiritual understanding about the power in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

What is Atonement of Jesus Christ?

To “atone for” means to make amendments. So, Jesus Christ played a vital role in changing our cursed status to blessings. The shedding of Jesus Christ’s blood on the cross and His death atones for our spiritual death and gives us eternal relationship with the LORD.

Atonement was GOD’s plan after the spiritual death of Adam in the Garden of Eden.

“…but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die…” (Genesis 2:17)

The LORD gave the commandment of Atonement to Moses:

“The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp. And they shall burn in the fire their skins, their flesh, and their offal.” …

“This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you…” (Leviticus 16: 27-30)

At one point the LORD reached the conclusion that the sinless human sacrifice would put an end to the grievous power of sin bonded on everyone and that is the atonement of Jesus Christ.  

How Was the Atonement of Jesus Done?

Hmm, it was not an easy task of sacrifice for Jesus Christ. Shedding His blood to deliver us from the stronghold of sin is a tough decision. His death and resurrection give us the freedom from the shackles of sin.

The atonement of Jesus Christ involved the following process:

1. When no one in heaven could volunteer He made the choice to come.

“Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.” (John 7:28)

2. He lived a sinless life among sinners and taught us the holy path to follow.

“And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40)

3. Jesus felt great pity for Himself and for us too.

“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose, I came to this hour.” (John 12:27)

4. He went through unexplainable emotional pain when lifting the burden of sin.

“And being in agony He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling to the ground.” (Luke 22:44)

5. Jesus Christ was arrested like a criminal so He can lift the sin placed on Him at the Mount of Olives to the cross.

“Then the detachment of troops and the captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him.” (John 18:12)

6. He was put to public shame when His robe was pulled off and nearly naked. Jesus admitted our eternal shame at that moment.

“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.””

7. Christ was mocked and flogged. The significance is to save us from eternal mockery and punishment into eternal fire.

“Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him…And when they had mocked Him… led Him out to crucify Him.” (Mark 15:19-20)

8. Jesus Christ was laid and nailed to the cross carrying the burden of sin with Him.

9. At that moment His body on the cross was raised up like a sacrifice on the high altar and His blood that dripped to the earth was the greatest sacrifice done forever.

10. The LORD forsook Him at that moment so Jesus could lift the burden of sin as a wholesome sacrifice.

“And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”” (Mark 15:34)

11. Blood from His body that dropped to the earth is a significant part of the sacrifice that pleases God to cleanse our sins permanently.

12. Jesus Christ died on the Cross like a sacrificial lamb so that the power of sin could be dead in us. Atonement of Jesus is immeasurable!

13. He resurrects on the third day after defeating the forces of sin and death!

“He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 25:8)

The atonement of Jesus Christ will work for you if you believe in Him and obey His teachings. And you will enjoy a holy and powerful life of victory on earth and in Heaven.

1. “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.” (Hebrew 9:12)

3. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

1. Reconciliation with God: Through Jesus’ atonement, we are reconciled to God. The barrier of sin that separates us from God is removed, and you can have a restored relationship with the LORD.

2. Forgiveness of Sins: Atonement of Jesus provides forgiveness for sins. You can receive forgiveness and be cleansed from your transgressions.

3. Justification: Christians are justified before God through the atonement of Jesus Christ, and you are declared righteous in God’s sight, not because of your merits, but because of the work of Christ on the cross.

4. Redemption: Jesus’ atonement buys you back from slavery to sin and its consequences. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, you are set free from the power of sin and its eternal consequences.

5. Adoption into God’s Family: You join the children of God and have all the rights and privileges of being part of God’s household.

6. Access to God’s Presence: The atonement of Jesus grants you access to God’s presence. The veil that separated the Holy of Holies in the temple was torn in two when Jesus died, symbolizing that through His sacrifice, you now have direct access to God.

7. Empowerment by the Holy Spirit: Through Jesus’ atonement, you receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in you, empowering you to live a life that is pleasing to God and enabling you to bear spiritual fruits.

8. Victory over the Enemy: The atonement of Jesus Christ brings victory over your enemies. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus defeated sin, death, and the devil. So, you can now walk in the victory that Jesus Christ has already won.

9. Transformation: Through Jesus’ atonement, you will experience transformation. The power of the Holy Spirit works within you to conform you to the image of Christ, producing godly character and enabling you to live a life that is pleasing to God.

10. Eternal Life: Through faith in Jesus Christ, you have the assurance of spending eternity with God in heaven, where there will be no more pain, suffering, or death.

The atonement of Jesus was a bloody sacrifice and a powerful influence of resurrection meant to deliver you and I from the bondage of sin and to reconcile us to the Almighty LORD forever.

I admonish you to believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and your obedience to His commandments will make you enjoy forever and save you from eternal condemnation to lake of fire.

Store up treasures in heaven means Christians should expense their physical and spiritual wealth on earth to the poor and needy and the more you do that the LORD reserves great rewards for you in heaven. So, I tell you with authority that all Christians that gain heaven won’t possess same treasures!

Today’s message will help you to know how to store up treasures in heaven and the benefits involved in the obedience of Jesus’ commandments.

Heaven is the abode of the Almighty God which is also the place the LORD prepared to receive the genuine Christians who leave this corrupt earth. I am privileged to have a glance of the beautiful heaven, but I cannot describe all the wonderful treasures in heaven.

1. Breath of Peace and Joy

Sincerely speaking, the peace in heaven does not exist in the midst of the most peaceful person on earth. The air you will breathe in heaven is peace and joy. Comparatively, the air we breathe on earth is like passing big rocks through our nostrils!

The LORD told me to read this bible verses to you:

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.” (Galatians 6: 15-16)

“The treasure of peace awaits you if you follow the rule of holiness!”

2. Beautiful Mansions

Trust me, the heavenly abode for the children of God is not only an open peaceful colorful field. The Beautiful mansions I saw should be a strong reason for us to store up treasures in heaven. The size of your mansion will be determined by the size of your earthly investment in the lives of the poor and needy.

Jesus Christ says: “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:2-3)

The Danger of Laying Up Treasures on Earth

Store up of treasures on earth means:

1. Paying tithes only to the church pastor and ignoring the poor church members.

2. Spending huge amounts of money to build massive record-breaking church buildings while all the wretched church members are struggling to survive.

3. Fleet of cars in your custody without releasing some to the poor for transport business. Throwing millions of dollars around for maintenance of your jet.

4. Your real estate is strictly for making money and there is no plan to harbor some homeless people around you.

5. You want to be recognized as the richest man in the society and not to be ignored on the Bloomberg billionaire’s index. Did you stack so much gold in your vault and huge amounts of cryptocurrencies?

Danger for laying up treasures on earth is not limited to the following:

1. It takes your heart away from the LORD (just like the case of king Solomon).

2. Your heart can never think about going to heaven because all your treasures are on earth. You will easily believe the false teaching that heaven does not exist.

3. Hackers or Government policies can make you run into bankruptcy.

4. You will find it easy to sell your soul to the devil (just the way Jesus Christ was tempted though He never falls).

5. Fire hazard or world war can consume your treasures on earth without remedy.

Real wealth is obtained by investing in “treasures in heaven.”

10 Steps Christians Can Store Up Treasures in Heaven

1. Seek First the Kingdom of God

Jesus said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). By prioritizing your relationship with God and seeking His will above all else, you store up treasure in heaven.

When you put God first, you align yourself with His purposes and experience the blessings that come from living in obedience to Him.

2. Obey God’s Commandments

8. You will see the face of the LORD because He will be the Light.

10. The Name of the LORD will be on your forehead.
