9. Greed won’t allow you to be involved in evangelism which involves sharing your wealth with the poor.

10. A greedy person only has selfish love and does not love others.

1. Separation from God

Greed turns your heart away from God and replaces Him with material desires.

2. Spiritual Blindness

It distorts your values, making worldly riches seem more important than eternal life.

3. Loss of Contentment and Peaceful mind

Greedy individuals often experience inner turmoil because they are never satisfied.

4. Dishonesty and Corruption

Avarice leads people to engage in dishonest behaviour to gain more wealth.

A greedy heart prioritizes material success over godly living.

Many years ago, greed made me lose huge sum of money and nearly commit suicide, but steps below saved me.

Contentment is a safeguard against greed. Trusting in God’s provision prevents you from the desire for excessive wealth.

First Timothy chapter 6 verses 6 and 7 – “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.”

Giving to others breaks the hold of greed and reflects God’s nature.

I will never forget the day four evil boys with sophisticated rifles shot bullets into the non-bulletproof vehicle at close range, but the LORD shielded us with His mighty power. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

For instance, despite Daniel facing persecution for his faith, he trusted the LORD entirely. His unwavering faith led God to shut the mouths of the lions, demonstrating that divine security is guaranteed for you if you rely wholly on the LORD. (Daniel 6:16-23)

2. Live a Holy Life

You will enjoy a high level of divine security if your lifestyle is controlled by righteousness.

Psalm 5 verse 12 says, “For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.”

Job is a powerful example of God’s favor upon the righteous (Job 1:8-10). Although Satan sought to attack Job, he acknowledged that God had placed a hedge of protection around him because of his righteousness. So, living a holy life attracts divine protection for you and your family.

I boldly tell you that the Word of God is a shield against the enemy’s attacks. Let the word of God fill your heart always and not with things of this world.

Psalm 119 verse 105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

I remember when the devil came to attack me for exposing his secrets, I didn’t sit to negotiate with him, but I prayed to the Almighty GOD who rescued me. The level of spiritual protection you can receive through praising GOD can never be quantified!

A prayerless Christian is like an empty box that can be crushed easily by the enemies. Prayers keep you connected to the divine safety of the LORD.

Obedience to the instructions of Jesus Christ is the key to divine security! An example is Noah’s obedience which preserved his family during the flood (Genesis 6:13-22).

To enjoy divine protection always put on the following armor: helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit, shield of faith and breastplate of righteousness.

The Holy Spirit guides and warns us of dangers, both seen and unseen. So, always be attentive to the voice of GOD when HE speaks to you.

It took me many months under the direct spiritual training of the Holy Spirit to complete the transformation process. So, the transformation of a heart of stone to heart of flesh is for the disciplined Christians and not for the lazy ones.

Many people can’t go through the rigor involved and that is the reason they come up with different false teachings telling you that God is love and never cares about your sinful lifestyle. They told you to bring money to the church for cleansing of your sins and many other “pleasing” doctrines. Please run away from such false doctrines and follow the steps below.

1. Practice Repentance and Humility

It is impossible for an active sinner to have a heart of flesh so, let go of all the lifestyles that contradict the will of GOD.

Heart of stone as mentioned in the bible is a metaphorical expression for someone who knows the commandments of GOD but refuses to obey the directives and regulations. Everyone on earth has a heart of stone or heart of flesh!

Do you noticed you always do many things against God’s instructions, and you are tired of such lifestyle? Don’t feel bad, I once lived such life under the influence of a heart of stone, but God delivered me. Today’s message will explain the spiritual implications and how to be transformed.

Please I want you to carefully read the scriptures below so that you can understand the emotion of God about those with heart of stone.

It is not the will of GOD for anyone to have a heart of stone, but the following causes are cogent:

If you ever wonder if God who is omnipresent saw Eve when she plucked the forbidden fruit to eat, yes, HE did but HE will never abuse the power choice embedded in our creation. If you choose to disobey the commandments of the LORD, then it will lead to a stony heart.

2. Losing your ‘birthright’ to the Devil

If you are not sensitive to the offers from the Devil it can put you in a rebellious condition with the LORD. Watch out for things to embrace in the culture of the land. Don’t allow money, food, parties, and the technology related to generative artificial intelligence to make you forget about the Holy Spirit.

3. Unreadiness to be Disciplined by the Holy Spirit

If you do not want to go through the physical, spiritual and emotional training instructed by Jesus Christ then it is a big cause that leads to a heart of stone.

Many people are in the Christian fold in this generation but only few are ready for the tough training that can sharpen them to become genuine children of GOD!   

10 Major Signs of Someone with a Heart of Stone

1. Always giving excuses for doing wrong and won’t accept responsibility

2. Very impatient to listen to righteous sermons

3. Does not want to be under the control of divine instructions

4. People with a heart of stone are so confident in their own thoughtful will

5. Dislikes corrections and hates to be disciplined

6. Selfish and takes advantage of the vulnerable ones

7. All the Bible passages are difficult for them to understand

8. Their prayer time is to ask God for their desires only and not to worship the Creator.

9. The heart of stone loves the abominable culture of this world and enjoys sins.

10. They always claim to be highly knowledgeable, full of authority and spread false teachings.

 The signs above are flashlights for you to search deep. Many years ago, when the LORD gave me a deep understanding of this topic, I was shocked that despite my status as a Christian and devoted church goer I am guilty. Conversion from heart of stone to heart of flesh requires devoted spiritual training directly from the LORD.

Please, if you discover any of the signs above then quickly kneel in your room and invite the LORD for ‘spiritual disciplinary sessions’ so that you can escape the implications below.

4. Very easy to be possessed by the demons for spiritual manipulations

Importance of family to God is so crucial because it is the first institution on earth. But developments in marriage since the middle of the 20th century show that in many nations, marriages are becoming less common. Youths marry later, unmarried couples are increasingly choosing to live together, and many are involved in single parenthood.

This trend is heartbreaking because it violates the importance of family, and it is the cause of disunity and insecurity in the society. Please, let us stand against the abomination of same-sex marriage introduced into the church. Today’s message throws more light about importance of family to God and your role as a Christian to fulfil God’s desire.

The family was the first institution God established. In Genesis 1:28, God instructed Adam and Eve to “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” This shows that family is foundational to His design.
