10 Steps to Personally Know GOD in a Deep Way!

10 Steps to Personally Know GOD in a Deep Way!

To know GOD means identifying His personality and the deep way to realize Him requires your strong relentless determination.

Meanwhile, no one can know everything about GOD because our brain is too inadequate to comprehend the in-depth of the LORD. The good news is that the LORD is ready to reveal Himself to you in a harmless way.

Today’s message would itemize the powerful steps to take to see, hear and know more about GOD just like many prophets in the Bible.

The steps below are practical steps I followed and I am bold to tell you that it is possible to see GOD and know great things about Him.

10 Deep Ways to Know GOD Without Paying a Dime!

1. Make a Firm Choice to Follow Him

You cannot know someone you refused to follow. Since the Devil and worldliness are enemies to the LORD, then you have to completely forsake a lawless lifestyle and choose to follow GOD’S way.

2. Accept Jesus Christ as Saviour

Jesus Christ is the way that leads to knowing greater things about GOD. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

3. Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

You cannot know GOD if you are not filled with His Spirit and the only way is to faithfully give your heart to the LORD. Submit your power of choice to Him and His Spirit would fill you.

4. Send a Request to the LORD

Jesus said that ask and it shall be given. The next step after choosing a godly lifestyle is to pray. Speak to the LORD that you want to know more about Him.

5. Read the Old Testament Bible

To know the LORD involves reading about His deeds recorded. So, read books such as Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Joshua, Judges and books of the Prophets.

6. Read the New Testament Bible

Your previous understanding of the Old Testament will help you know more about GOD and His plans recorded in the books such as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, and Revelation.

7. Meditate on the Word of GOD

Create time every day to meditate the word of GOD you read in step 5 and 6 above. At this point GOD would start speaking to you in various ways and you would know GOD better than before.

8. Exercise your Spirit Being

At this stage you ought to know the spiritual gifts given to you by the LORD. So, make use of these gifts to help people around you through the course of evangelism. The more you witness GOD the more you’ll know Him.

9. Call Him by His Name

You would establish a strong relationship with the LORD if you always call Him respectfully by His real name during your personal fellowship with Him.

“And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.” (Exodus 3:14)

10. Train your Tongue how to Praise

GOD enthrones in the praises of His people, so when you praise and worship Him you would always receive His presence which is a deep way of knowing more about the LORD.

GOD is known to be the Greatest, no one can either comprehend His beginning or His end. The LORD is Holy and orderly. He is Love and a fair Judge. Follow the ten powerful steps above and you would surely know God.

What is Slave of Sin and Can a Christian be Enslaved?

What is Slave of Sin and Can a Christian be Enslaved?

Slave of sin means a metaphoric expression that describes sin as a lord to people who disobey the commandments of the LORD. Sin is the master while sinners are the slaves.

“Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.”” (John 8:34-35)

Today’s message would explain the features exhibited by someone enslaved in sin and it would be an eye-opener for many young Christians.

20 Ways to Know when Someone is Slave of Sin

1. Not ready to resist temptation but to dance to the tune of the sin.

2. Takes habitual sin as a normal harmless action.

3. Supports the cultural practices of the land which contradicts the LORD’s Will.

4. Not ready to pay the sacrifice of self-denial to sins.

5. Having one thousand and one reasons for committing iniquities.

6. Obeying the lust of the flesh.

7. A slave of sin knows good deeds but won’t do.

8. Hates Jesus and serves the LORD with lip service!

9. Someone who is slave of sin does not have faith in Jesus Christ.

10. Does not put on the armour of GOD every day.

11. Public presentation of the body to serve as an instrument for sin.

12. A slave of sin rejects the strength of Jesus Christ that could break the bond of sin away.

13. Always love the worldly desires that lead to multiple somersaults.

14. Confess sins every day but not ready to repent!

15. Expects GOD to shout from Heaven if their sinful actions were truly wrong.

16. Doesn’t believe the records in the Bible but wants Jesus Christ to come and do another special preaching of the Gospel.

17. There are situations an enslaved person hates the sin but won’t come out to seek for help from the right servants of the LORD.

18. Always full of regrets.

19. Peace, joy and happiness are always short-lived in the life of someone enslaved in sins.

20. Lives a deceitful lifestyle!

If you are in the Christian fold and you notice any of the points above in your life, don’t over-look the issue but strive to change your status from slave of sin to slave of righteousness. May the LORD uphold you as you yield to His instructions in Jesus’s name.

What is Slave of Righteousness?

What is Slave of Righteousness?

Slave of righteousness is a metaphoric expression used by Paul to explain the subject of holiness to the Roman Christians.

Are you confused about becoming a ‘slave’ when the salvation of Jesus made you co-heir with Christ? Are you offended by Paul’s statement because you are a master in your homeland?

Don’t worry, today’s message will explain the context and content of Paul’s statement; slave of righteousness!

Is Paul’s Statement Controversial?

Apostle Peter made a remark about some Paul’s statement which might be difficult to comprehend…

Second Peter chapter 3 verse 15 and 16: “…and consider that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation–as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you.

as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.”

Paul specifically mentioned that the words ‘slave of righteousness’ was his human terms. It is not a prophetic expression from the LORD. So, don’t be offended and don’t get confused. It is an analogy to describe the submission of your power of choice to GOD’s rules.

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.” Romans 6:19

Paul’s Declaration about Slave of Righteousness

But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 6:17-18

The best way to understand the context of Paul’s statement above is to read is personal experience related to freedom from sin.

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. What I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.

Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” Romans 7:14-24

NOTE: Paul’s excuses above are personal to him and not a reference for you to give excuses to your sin. He knew that no matter the several times he shifts the blame, he would end up in eternal death if he folds his hands.

Paul says: “For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.” Romans 7:5

Paul’s Power of Choice

Having read his personal experience recorded in Romans chapter 7, he reached a conclusion that there are two options to make in life either to be a slave to sin or a slave of righteousness.

He got the answer to his bitter experience in Romans chapter 8.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death…”

So, where ever you read Paul’s statement saying words like:” you are no more under the law but grace”, then I want you to remember his statement in Romans 8:2 that he meant you are no more under the law of sin!! His preaching does not urge you to be lawless or careless about the commandments of Jesus Christ.

Romans chapter 6 verse 12 and 13 summarizes the content for slave of righteousness:

“Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”

GOD is Same as Jesus; how could this be True?

GOD is Same as Jesus; how could this be True?

It is unfortunate to see the success of the Devil to cause confusion in the midst of the Christians that GOD is same as Jesus. To understand the truth about this topic, it is important to know who is GOD, Jesus, and what is their relationship?

Today’s message would explain the truth if GOD is same as Jesus or not. I minister to you as a messenger of the LORD who was privileged to see GOD and Jesus. All my Bible references to explain the truth shall strictly come from the quotes of GOD and Jesus Christ only, so no bias!

Vision about the Great Judgement

On the first day of the ninth month of 2003, I saw a great vision about the end time. I saw the LORD with a descending golden crown to His shoulder and to the group on the left HE pronounced: “Satan has not been doing good so he is condemned to lake of fire”.

After this pronouncement, Satan and all his members were handcuffed automatically, full of bitterness and grieve without hope of liberty, they bow and shook their heads in sorrow.

The LORD pronounced to the second group: “Jesus has been doing good so He is victorious.” Jesus and all His members were dancing, jumping up and shouting the word ‘Victory’! There was a great joy in their midst.

Interpretation of this vision can be seen in my previous message titled; How would the Judgment Day look like?

3 key Observations in the Spectacular Vision

1. Everyone in that vision have the same look.

“So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)

2. GOD was not the same as Jesus Christ.

3. Only GOD has the Authority for the final Judgement.

“I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” (Revelation 20:12)

Teaching About Holy Trinity is False!

The root cause of the expression that ‘GOD is same as Jesus‘ was traced to the ancient popular teaching of the Holy Trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This false teaching says GOD came to the world as Jesus.

The teaching contradicts itself that GOD, Jesus and Holy Spirit are three different persons but yet they are one person; GOD the Head. This teaching is demonic because there is no verse in the Bible where GOD or Jesus Christ substantiates this strange claim.

How can a father be a son to himself? And how can a son become the father of his father? It is a wrong teaching with the intention to create a false gospel.

Listen to Apostle Peter’s warning about false teaching: “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.” (2Peter2:1)

Read more about holy trinity in my message: Holy Trinity: Is the Doctrine from God or the Bishops?

GOD is Not the same as Jesus Christ

The following points are reference from the LORD to show that Jesus is not the same as GOD:

1. GOD’s Identity is different from Jesus

“And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.” (Exodus 6:2-3 kjv)

2. GOD Sent Jesus to Come

So, HE is a Master to Jesus Christ and it was not the LORD who came to die for our sins.

“And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:22)

3. Holy Spirit hovered Mary and formed Son of God

“And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)

If the Angel of GOD referred to Jesus as Son of God then why did some early elders in the church said He is God the Son?

4. The Plan of Salvation for man Originated from GOD

If Jesus came as the LORD then He would not give the expression below:

“Therefore, My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.”

“No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (John 10:17-18)

5. GOD spoke from Heaven during transfiguration

If Jesus was GOD, is the LORD’s expression below necessary?

“And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Luke 9:35)

GOD is same as Jesus? No! Jesus is Not same as LORD

Jesus made us to understand many times that He has a Father and Christ never gave us the impression that He was the Father. Yes, He was full of authority but He never claimed to be the Almighty GOD!

1. Jesus did NOT Know everything about GOD

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:35-36)

2. Jesus was a Messenger of GOD

“Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.” (John 7: 16-17) This response from Jesus shows that He is lower and not equal to GOD.

“I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” (John 16:28)

3. Jesus Prays to GOD for Help

Don’t you see it to be a mad event if someone is praying to himself? Since we all know that Jesus is not mad then it implies that He is praying to someone superior to Him.

“He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39)

4. Jesus Gives Report of His Stewardship

“Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, “as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do…” (John chapter 17)

With this reference from Jesus Christ, it shocks me to hear people believe the false teaching that God and Jesus is the same Person.

5. Jesus always Give Thanks to GOD

“…And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me…” (John 11:41)

The statement of Jesus shows that the personality of GOD is different from His. So, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is a cock-and-bull story.

6. Jesus’ Commandments exalt GOD and not Himself

“Jesus said to him,” ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)

If Jesus was Yahweh as claimed by the false teachers then He would have said: “You shall love Me with all your heart…”

7. Jesus Shout to GOD in Grieve

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Did you think it is necessary for Jesus Christ to shout to anyone if truly GOD died for our sins on the cross? If Jesus and GOD are the same person then why did Jesus Christ shout to God on the cross?

The 12 cogent points above are original statements from GOD and Jesus Christ to show that they are not the same person and not equal in authority or position. Jesus openly told the world that GOD is the Greatest.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is a demonic teaching that cannot be truly substantiated with genuine verses from the Word of GOD or from the Word of Jesus written in the original Bible.

Is Jesus Christ our Lord?

Jesus is Lord while GOD is LORD. If the Jewish wives call their husband ‘lord’ as a form of respect. And we chose to call the Judge in the court of law ‘my lord’ then it is not a mistake to call Jesus Lord.

The LORD gave Jesus Christ a great authority than anyone else, so Jesus is Lord. And we should also acknowledge that Yahweh is LORD of Lords.

Jesus re-affirmed judges as gods and Himself as Son of GOD in the book of John chapter 10 verse 33 to 36, but that does not equate judges or Jesus to be the same as Jehovah who is GOD of gods!

For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome…” (Deuteronomy 10:17)

So, the unbiased explanation above with respect to references from the LORD and Jesus Christ answers the question “God is same as Jesus?” to be NO!!
