Is It Possible to See GOD in His Full Dress?

Is It Possible to See GOD in His Full Dress?

To see GOD means recognizing the presence of the Almighty Creator in a spectacular way. You cannot be a Christian to the end of your life if you did not see the uniqueness of the LORD.

The cause of daily increase in lukewarmness among Christians is synonymous to a village man who was asked to be in a relationship with an unknown beautiful woman living a thousand kilometres away. No matter how strong the man could love the name of the woman, he would quit or cheat on her after a while…

Today’s message would show you how to see GOD. The glory of the LORD is too much for our brain to understand everything about Him. So, I am a living witness to testify that I saw GOD through His compassion and I was not destroyed.

You can also see the LORD because He wants His children to know Him!

Note: No one can see the full glory or the totality of the LORD, such man would die. God told Moses He cannot see all about His face: “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” (Exodus 33:20)

So, my message today about seeing GOD is limited to the compassionate form of knowing GOD. The Sodomites saw the appearance of GOD by fire but they could not live to describe His Majesty!

Why You Need to See GOD

1. You would have unique knowledge about the LORD.

2. To acknowledge that the LORD is real and not abstract.

3. The Devil would find it difficult to deceive you.

4. It makes your relationship with GOD stronger and indivisible.

5. You would have the firm boldness and genuine responsibility to spread the Gospel of Jesus.

How to See GOD without Dying

The following steps are essential for you to take if you long to see the LORD:

1. Stay Away from Sinful Lifestyle

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy’”. (Leviticus 19:2)

2. Obey the Teachings of Jesus Christ our Saviour

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

3. Go to a Private Place

Retreat to a room, bush, or mountain where there is no distraction, then fast and pray for some days asking GOD you want to see and know more about Him.

4. Meditate on His Words

Read and digest God’s message written in the books recorded by Moses, the prophets, the four Gospels and Revelation.

5. Fill your Lamp with Oil

Get your mind prepared through faithfulness and singing songs of worship to the LORD.

Five Major Ways to See the LORD

GOD is sovereign and unquestionable. No one can dictate the form of His appearance, so don’t kneel down to command Him to appear to you in a particular way. He can choose one or more of the ways mentioned below:

1. Physical Appearance:

“Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel.

And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity.” (Exodus 24:9-10)

2. Spiritual Appearance:

The LORD can exhibit His Spirit in a unique way to you. For instance, His Spirit hovers on the disciples who saw the LORD in another spectacular way. (Acts chapter 2)

3. Angelic Appearance:

He puts His Authority into an Angel. Abraham, Jacob and Gideon had similar experience related to angelic appearance.

“When the Angel of the LORD appeared no more to Manoah and his wife, then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of the LORD. And Manoah said to his wife, “We shall surely die, because we have seen God!”

But his wife said to him, “If the LORD had desired to kill us, He would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands, nor would He had shown us all these things, nor would He had told us such things as these at this time.”

4. Supernatural Display:

One of the signs of my calling was seeing a very bright light in the sky and I heard a firm voice deep in my heart telling me to preach His Gospel to the world. It was a unique experience I have no words to fully describe it.

Moses had a similar experience: “…the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed…So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush…” (Exodus chapter 3)

5. Dream and Vision Appearance:

God uses this famous route to reveal Himself to His loved ones including the prophets.

Prophet Isaiah said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.”

From the records of Jesus Christ and my personal experience with the LORD, He loves to meet us. So, if you long to see GOD then follow the steps above and you would be glad to meet Him. Don’t hesitate to share your comments with me.

May the LORD reveal Himself to you as you long to see Him in Jesus name. Amen.

How Can I be Enemy of Myself?

How Can I be Enemy of Myself?

When you go through an uncomfortable situation pointing inward, you may want to ask; “When did I become the enemy of myself?” It’s not a strange event when response to your prayers or prophecy shows that source of your predicament is not external but internal.

Today’s message highlights some vital points that can open your eyes to know if truly you are enemy of yourself.

20 Ways to Know if Your Case is ‘Enemy of Myself’!

All spiritual battles or the difficulties of life do not necessarily come from external enemies, so the following points are helpful clues for you:

1. You don’t appreciate GOD for any reason in your life.

2. Your expectation from the LORD is too high than you believe in Him.

3. When you blow-up the little faith you build with aggressive fear.

4. Taking GOD’s instructions for levity.

5. If you curse or say negative things to yourself.

6. Using your own brain to solve mysterious issues.

7. Rejection of the Holy Spirit and listening to carnal counsel.

8. You love shortcut so much and not ready to pay sacrifice.

9. Failure to stick to valid facts in the Bible.

10. You doubt yourself so much that you don’t believe GOD’s special gifts in you.

11. Given up easily when the tough time is not tougher.

12. When you take decisions according to comments from unbelievers.

13. You always have reasons to be sad even when the LORD told you to cheer up.

14. Comparing yourself with others makes you enemy of yourself.

15. Always full of excuses for every wrong choice you make.

16. If you are not sure if you have the character of self-discipline.

17. Slow proactive action on critical issues such as your health or finance.

18. Not ready for meditation of the biblical scriptures.

19. Chasing after false prophets and sorcerers for help.

20. I am an enemy of myself if I am a Christian who does not delight in obeying all the commandments of the LORD given by Jesus Christ.

“You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Adulterers and adulteress! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:3-4)

You can be enemy of yourself if you discover any of the points above in your life. So, the solution is to do the reverse and you would be victorious.

What is Slave of Righteousness?

What is Slave of Righteousness?

Slave of righteousness is a metaphoric expression used by Paul to explain the subject of holiness to the Roman Christians.

Are you confused about becoming a ‘slave’ when the salvation of Jesus made you co-heir with Christ? Are you offended by Paul’s statement because you are a master in your homeland?

Don’t worry, today’s message will explain the context and content of Paul’s statement; slave of righteousness!

Is Paul’s Statement Controversial?

Apostle Peter made a remark about some Paul’s statement which might be difficult to comprehend…

Second Peter chapter 3 verse 15 and 16: “…and consider that the long-suffering of our Lord is salvation–as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you.

as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.”

Paul specifically mentioned that the words ‘slave of righteousness’ was his human terms. It is not a prophetic expression from the LORD. So, don’t be offended and don’t get confused. It is an analogy to describe the submission of your power of choice to GOD’s rules.

I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness.” Romans 6:19

Paul’s Declaration about Slave of Righteousness

But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 6:17-18

The best way to understand the context of Paul’s statement above is to read is personal experience related to freedom from sin.

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. What I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.

But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.

Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” Romans 7:14-24

NOTE: Paul’s excuses above are personal to him and not a reference for you to give excuses to your sin. He knew that no matter the several times he shifts the blame, he would end up in eternal death if he folds his hands.

Paul says: “For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.” Romans 7:5

Paul’s Power of Choice

Having read his personal experience recorded in Romans chapter 7, he reached a conclusion that there are two options to make in life either to be a slave to sin or a slave of righteousness.

He got the answer to his bitter experience in Romans chapter 8.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death…”

So, where ever you read Paul’s statement saying words like:” you are no more under the law but grace”, then I want you to remember his statement in Romans 8:2 that he meant you are no more under the law of sin!! His preaching does not urge you to be lawless or careless about the commandments of Jesus Christ.

Romans chapter 6 verse 12 and 13 summarizes the content for slave of righteousness:

“Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”
