Self-Righteousness: How to avoid Hypocrisy!

Self-Righteousness: How to avoid Hypocrisy!

Self-righteousness is a lifestyle controlled by some pleasing doctrines created by the wise great men. Hypocrisy is pandemic in the Christendom. Why? Self-righteousness has replaced godly righteousness in the church. Why?

A big log of wood fell off my eyes and I want you to read today’s message with an open-heart, because it will help you to escape the trap of self-righteousness.

The Parable of Self-Righteousness

… Jesus spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men–extortionist, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

‘I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’

“And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ’God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

“I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:9-14)

This parable reveals that self-righteousness is common among the religious people. The tax collector was justified, because he realized his sinful life and wanted God’s mercy for a change in lifestyle.

The Lord will never contradict Himself, only sinners who repent shall be justified. Proverbs chapter 28 verse 13 says: “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”

Thus, every Christian must be careful to avoid stumbling into hypocrisy.

8 Actions of Self-Righteousness

It is a virtue rated by man and not by God. Self-righteousness is highly esteemed among people, but it is an abomination before the Lord. Self–righteousness includes;

1. Unnecessary Segregation

The self-righteous people believe they rank higher in holiness than others, so they don’t relate with everybody except their caucus.

2. Blowing Trumpets

They announce the number of souls won, the amount spent on the poor and how important their presence and finances helps the church.

3. Sitting on the Fence

Self-righteous people put one of their legs in worldliness and the other in church doctrines. They might be physically clean but spiritually dirty or vice versa.

4. Self-righteousness Loves Praises

They want the Pastor to always exalt them on the pulpit for their wonderful gifts to the church. They prefer all eyes to be on them for admiration. The self-righteous present themselves as church celebrities!

5. Dislike Corrections

The self-righteous are educative, so they thought their knowledge of the Bible surpass others. They love to correct others, but they don’t want corrections.

6. Good Judge

The self-righteous condemns those struggling with the stronghold of sins. But, if you ask them to substantiate their hypocrisy with the Bible, you hear them say “thou shall not judge…”

7. Boastful

Self-righteousness is filled with pride. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’” (Matthew 23:29-30).

8. Inventors of new Doctrines

The most powerful tool that divides the Christendom is self-righteousness. Many church founders choose to be unique by creating diverse doctrines that do not originate from Jesus Christ. Each Founder considers theirs to be the right church.

5 Ways to Guard against Self-Righteousness

The antonym of self-righteousness is godly righteousness, thus;

1. Give the Holy Spirit the total control of your life.

2. Don’t put yourself under church doctrines but give yourself to instructions of Jesus in the Bible.

3. Don’t make Pastors and Prophets your role model, but make Jesus Christ your role model.

4. Believe in Jesus and don’t put hope in great men.

5. The lifestyle of many superiors is self-righteousness. So, imitate the lifestyle of Jesus written in the Bible.

Self-righteousness is like a filthy rag before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6). But, godly righteousness is the basic need for you to enjoy eternal rest in Heaven. In the book of Matthew chapter 25 verses 46, Jesus says: “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Christian Discipline: The Tough Path of Christianity!

Christian Discipline: The Tough Path of Christianity!

Christian discipline is organized by the Holy Spirit to make you do the things your body, soul and spirit will not ordinarily do. Discipline is essential for the continuous growth of every Christian.

“Pablo Casals was considered the greatest cellist (Someone who plays a violoncello) to ever live. When he was 95 years old he was asked why he continued to practice 6 hours a day. He answered, “Because I think I am making progress.”

Thus, Christian discipline enhances continuity on the lane of perfection to heaven.

Today’s message will broaden your understanding on the concept of Christian discipline and how to attain the acceptable margin.

What is Christian Discipline?

Christian discipline sounds restrictive, but it is a godly training for acquiring strength and victory. It is the act of total submission to the instructions of the LORD. Christian discipline involves obeying the directives of the Holy Spirit without argument or personal opinions.

The aim of Christian discipline is to tame your body, soul and spirit in the way of godliness. First Timothy chapter 4 verses 7 and 8 say: “But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things…”

The spiritual system for Christian to be disciplined is not readily acceptable to the human thinking. But, self-control is the key attribute needed for a successful Christian.

For instance, a lot of people get bored after prayers of 20 minutes. But, if you make yourself available for discipline, there are some times you won’t stop praying until the Spirit of the Lord ask you to stop, though your knees might suffer pains, but you have to endure like a soldier standing on the parade ground….

Christian discipline means pruning your life for fruitfulness. Jesus says, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” (John 15:1-2)

Who is the Tutor for Christian Discipline?

The tutor for Christian discipline is God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. “Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23)

The only successful way for you to survive this sinful world is to give yourself to consistent discipline in the Lord.

Don’t be scared of God’s discipline and don’t refer to it as a harsh punishment! Rather, it is an expression of love to save your life from eternal condemnation.

Hear God speaks in Revelation chapter 3 verse 19: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

The Lord becomes your Father when you give your life to Him. Thus, a good child must always yield to the training of the father.

You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the LORD your God chastens you. Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.” (Deuteronomy 8:5-6)

How to Become a Disciplined Christian!

1. Readiness to give everything about your Life to the Lord

“Then Jesus said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23)

2. Avoid Distractions

Be focused on godliness. The Blood of Jesus washes away all your sins, but your focus on Him to live a godly life sustains His salvation in your life. Your thoughts, speech and actions must always fall in line with His instructions.

3. Create Time for Fellowship

There are many activities you encounter every day, and if care is not taken you might have no time for spiritual exercises. I am sure Jesus went through similar experience and that was the reason for His regular night fellowship with His Father on the mountain. (Matthew 14:23)

Christian discipline gives strength and mark of holiness. So, it is mandatory for you to allocate time for prayers, Bible studies, inspirational songs and meditation in the presence of the Lord every day.

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord…” (Ephesians 5:18-19)

4. Charge yourself always

Your heart must not be passive for a second. Christian discipline involves filling your heart always with the word of God.

I share this to you as a testimony; the gadgets that keep me away from mess include my mp3 audio Bible. I listen to it in the car or anywhere I go to. My computer has music files that can play for the next 24 hours…

So, my ear is trained to listen to the word of God always and my heart is adapted to the obedience of His word. That is the secret of any discipline Christian! Your heart must be updated always with godly information, and not with the latest deal of worldliness.

5. Obedience to Instructions

The success of the army in battle is always credited to their obedience and disciplined actions.

Similarly, the success of every disciplined Christian is solely dependent on obedience to the instructions given by the LORD. Thus, a genuine Christian is not a lawless person!

6 Benefits of Christian Discipline

1. Hearing God’s Voice

If you find it difficult to hear God’s voice, then give yourself to godly discipline.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”

2. It gives you Strength and Power

Devil cannot defeat you. And, you will be free from the bondage of carnal nature.

3. You will always enjoy the presence of God

4. Free from sin

Many people in the church commit disobedience to the commandments of Jesus, because they refuse Christian discipline.

Only disciplined Christians are children of God. “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” (1John 3:9)

5. Secured Salvation

Christian discipline is for those that are active and not for those who love Jesus Christ, but dislike His commandments.

Jesus says: “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

So, the disciplined Christian who strive everyday will enjoy secured salvation.

“Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able…” (Luke 13:23-27)

6. You cannot suffer deceit

“He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray.” (Proverbs 10:17)

Only the disciplined Christian can succeed in the Christian race on earth. So, make yourself available for God’s discipline every day and your spiritual growth will receive strength. Note: The Blood of Jesus does not support indiscipline!

10 Things Jesus Can Give to You!

10 Things Jesus Can Give to You!

What can Jesus give to me if I give my life to Him? This was a question from a villager to the evangelist after five consecutive days of ministering salvation to the poor man. A rational human being finds it difficult to engage in a relationship that has no benefit…

So, today’s message will open your heart to understand the gains that await your cordial relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is the Mission of Jesus Christ?

His mission was to pay the greatest sacrifice for the permanent deliverance of man from the bondage of sin.

Romans chapter 5 verses 19 say: “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”

Jesus Christ fulfilled this mission on the Cross of Calvary.  His Blood that was shed at the Golgotha is able to clean the sins of anyone that looks up to Him for salvation.

What Can Jesus Give to You?

If you give your body, soul and spirit to Jesus Christ, then the following gifts are for you:

1. You will Enjoy Peace: Many poor people thought that if they are rich they would have peace. But, peace is not in affluence, because the rich also cry. If you give everything about your life to Jesus, then He will set up His supernatural power of peace into your life.

2. He Takes off your Heavy Yoke: Heavy yoke include; spiritual and physical oppression, depression, poverty, hopelessness, slavery, bitterness and all form of suicidal circumstances. When you surrender everything about your life to Jesus, He will take off your heavy yoke.

Matthew chapter 11 verse 28 to 30 says: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

3. Jesus Gives Love that Cross Curse: The presence of Jesus in your life exempts you from the eternal curse that awaits the sinners and the enemies of God.

John chapter 3 verse 16 says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The love of Jesus would give you the boldness to overcome the hatred of Satan against your life.

4. Free Gifts of the Holy Spirit: The lord will test your heart to confirm the genuineness of your confession. If you are not tagged as hypocrite, then the lord will give you wonderful gift(s) of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God will control your lifestyle and you won’t misbehave anymore.

Act chapter 2 verse 38 says:Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

5. Healing: Jesus Christ would give you perfect healing if you trust Him.  I always find it difficult to forget the wind of healing that blew on my dead body many years ago.  Jesus can heal your broken heart if you genuinely give your life to Him.

6.  Beautiful Mansion in Heaven: If you give your wealth to the poor and for the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ, then the Lord Jesus will give you a well-furnished mansion in heaven.

This is not a trick! I am privileged through the Grace of the Lord to see mansions in Heaven.  The building components in Heaven are purely shining gold – very beautiful!

John chapter 14 verse 1 and 2 says: “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

7. Jesus Gives Victory: Jesus would give you victory to all physical and spiritual battles on earth. You would also be a victor in Heaven.

Revelation chapter 12 verses 11 say: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

All the power on earth, under the earth and above had been given to our Lord Jesus Christ, thus, no evil powers, principalities or rulers of darkness can prevail upon you!

Devil hates me because I always expose his secret plans to people. He tried to take me away… but at the end of the fierce battle, the two hands of the devil became leprous by the Power of the Almighty God, and he shamefully disappeared… I had victory!

8.  Daily Miracles: Everything about Jesus is Wonderful. You will enjoy wonders in your home, office/business center and everywhere you minister the Gospel.

Jesus would make you a source of miracles in the lives of people around you.  I can’t count the number of miracles that happens around me in a month. Jesus gives miracles to those that believe in him.

9. Goodies of life: Jesus can give you all the necessity of life without sweat. But, it is safer to seek for His kingdom before pressing the demand for money, clothing, shelter, cars and so on.

Matthew chapter 6 verse 32 and 33 says:For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

10. Eternal Enjoyment: Only Jesus can give you eternal enjoyment in heaven, because He is the only narrow way to Heaven.

Matthew chapter 7 verse 13 says: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

All the gifts above are true and confirmed.  I am a living witness!! You have nothing good to lose if you give your body, soul and spirit to the LORD. Read the Bible and obey the instructions of Jesus Christ. You will receive abundant blessings on earth and in Heaven.

Anointing and Salvation; what is the Difference?

Anointing and Salvation; what is the Difference?

Anointing and Salvation are two different entities. Someone can be anointed by the Lord, but not saved by the Blood of Jesus. The essence of this message today is to clarify the difference between anointing and salvation.

I noticed that a lot of Christians suffer ‘big wounds’ in their heart when they hear the story about some powerful Pastors misbehaving in the church. Many people lost their faith in Christ due to the questionable attitude of their anointed Pastors.

Jesus is not pleased with such circumstances. “Then said He unto the disciples, it is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”

It is no more news that many anointed Pastors engages in adultery/fornication, homosexual, divorce and remarry, defraud church members, use of fetish charms (idolatry), drunkenness and other unclean vices.

Some people thought that the anointed Ministers would gain heaven despite the lifestyle they choose to live. How true is this school of thought? Let’s confirm the truth from the Bible!

What is Anointing and Salvation?

Anointing in this context is the “call to service”. I am making reference to the spiritual anointing that may not necessarily involve the anointing oil.

For instance, Jesus is an anointed Messiah. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised…” (Luke 4:18)

Either anointing oil is poured on the head of the anointed or not, he is being chosen to the service of the LORD. For example; the Priests, Prophets, and Kings were anointed using the anointing oil in the Old Testament. They were called to represent the authority of God in the lives of the people.

While in the New Testament, the anointing oil for ‘call to service’ was unnecessary. The most important duty of the anointed person is to minister the message, power and authority of the Lord to the lives of people.

Anointing and Salvation is different.

Salvation is the spiritual deliverance from the stronghold of sin and death. Salvation involves the transformation of the body, soul and spirit to obey God’s will.

The saved person is someone whose lifestyle is totally controlled by the Holy Spirit. The choice of the flesh and the things of the world do not influence the character of someone enjoying the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Major Differences between Anointing and Salvation

  1. Anointing is Duty while Salvation is Repentance

Anointing is ‘Call to Duty’ while Salvation is ‘Call to Repentance’. An anointed person can perform his duty as a Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist or Teacher and may not necessarily answer the call to repentance.

That is the main reason a Prophet would minister in a crusade filled with God’s miracles and healings, but in his guest room there are some women waiting to minister adultery to him. Such Prophet obeys the call to duty (anointing), but disobeyed the call to repentance (salvation).

Anointing and Salvation are two different ‘lives’!!

  1. Anointing is not debatable while Salvation is debatable

Anointing and Salvation cannot be the same, because anointing comes from the Lord. You don’t have any choice to turn down the anointing from the LORD. You can’t know when God plans to anoint you.

Many were anointed from the womb of their mothers, so they have no choice of rejecting the anointing. The anointed can perform wonders without having the experience of salvation.

But, salvation is a planned work of God which the anointed have the power of choice to accept or reject. You may choose to accept the terms and conditions of God’s salvation or pretend you don’t understand the deal of His salvation.

For instance, Samson was anointed from the womb, but he refused the standard salvation of the LORD. Samson made love with idolatrous foreign women. His anointing frustrated the Philistine, but his lack of salvation short-lived his relationship with the Lord (Judges Chapter 16).

The Apostles were anointed and they performed miracles when Jesus sent them for evangelism. Judas Iscariot was anointed, but he chose not to surrender his greedy life to Jesus…

Don’t be surprised when a non-Christian performs miracles, healing and so on. He was anointed but not saved!

  1. Salvation leads to Heaven but Anointing does not

Anointing and Salvation can be a good combination, but they manifest independently. An anointed person can be punished by the LORD, but a saved person cannot suffer punishment in hell.

For instance; King Solomon was an anointed King, he did great works assigned to him by the LORD. But, the King chose to disobey the commandments of the LORD. (Salvation is a matter of choice.)

King Solomon enjoyed ‘the world’ and his heart swayed into idolatry. Though he was anointed, but God punished him.

” And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon… (1King chapter 11)

The Threat of the Anointed Minister without Salvation

Many anointed Ministers of God in our generation had turned to be a big stumbling stones! Some of them sing good inspirational music but cling to devil for fame.

Some anointed Ministers perform great miracles, but their hands are soiled with sexual sins, love of money, charms (idolatry) etc. Their anointing cannot save them from eternal punishment. Am not judging, but saying the truth I heard from Jesus!

Jesus says: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! ‘”

Anointing and salvation are not the same, so don’t be deceived by anointed ministers who lack the salvation of Jesus Christ.

When you intend to correct them, they shout and scare you with statement such as; thou shall not judge…!

Yea, I won’t judge them, but, I would love to remind them the warning of the Lord: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)

They do well in the work of the LORD – Yes! It is their Call and Anointing. If they reject the salvation of the Lord, then their anointing cannot qualify them to dwell with the LORD in Heaven.

You can’t use your anointing to mock God; you will reap what you sow.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

It is not mandatory for everyone to pass through the anointing ‘classes’. But, the compulsory step to Heaven is the perfect obedience to the salvation of Jesus Christ.

Abandon God? 10 Horrible Things that can happen!

Abandon God? 10 Horrible Things that can happen!

To abandon God is like sitting on the keg of gun powder which can explode when least expected. You might be going through some hard times you don’t expect… and you thought such unwanted circumstances shouldn’t have happened to you because of your Christian status. Sorry about that! But to abandon God is not a good option.

Many years ago, I abandoned Satan and gave my life to the LORD. HE promised me good wealth and some other attractive packages. Few years later, I did not enjoy any good wealth as promised by the Lord.

So, I abandoned God and chose to follow my way. I met some guys who introduced me into a trading business I know nothing about. The business plan was so attractive, and I thought in my heart that I will be a millionaire in a short time.

I whispered to myself that it is good to abandon God and handle life the way it pleases me…

I borrowed a total of 4,000 dollars from three different sources for the trading. After the transaction, I ran into a huge loss. I never knew that the river side I always go for recreation could ever be a place of suicide for me.

Two minutes to my suicide hour, I received a miraculous phone call that gave me hope to pay back the money I borrowed. The God I abandoned had mercy on me.

To abandon God is dangerous, destructive and deadly!!

What does it mean to Abandon God?

God is the Creator of all creations. HE is so great that you can’t know everything about HIM. To abandon God means:

1. Stop praying to HIM with faith.

2. Refusal to praise HIM with all your heart.

3. To become a hypocrite.

4. Falling in love with the things of the world.

5. No passion for personal Bible studies and

6. Disobedience to the Word of God.

To abandon God attracts the following troubles;

1. Rejection: Satan was an arch angel in Heaven before He abandoned God. The LORD rejected him and he was cast out of Heaven.

Revelation chapter 12 verses 9 says: “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

2. Curses: The Pharisees and the Priest abandon God for their selfish interest and Jesus rained curses on them.

Matthew chapter 23 verse 13 says: “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.”

3. Restlessness: The minds that abandon God can never enjoy peace, because God is Peace and Jesus is Prince of Peace.

Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 says: “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

4. Confusion: Uncertainty is the order of the day for those that abandon God. For example; the Atheist always gets confused in the deepest part of their heart.

5. Demotion: Anyone that rejects God cannot enjoy steady promotion in life. For instance, king Jehoahaz abandon God and he was pulled down from his throne.

Second Chronicles chapter 36 verse 2 and 3: “Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. Now the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem…”

6. Pay unbearable Price: Those that abandon God live a life with heavy burden.

Jesus called those who abandon God to change their mind.

7. More Enemies: if you abandon God, your enemies would triumph over you.

First King chapter 11: “… So the LORD became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice…

Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant…”

“Now the LORD raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was a descendant of the king in Edom...”

8. Slavery: the victims would suffer emotional, physical and spiritual slavery.

Judges chapter 3 verses 8 says: “Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and He sold them into the hand of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel served Cushan-Rishathaim eight years.

9. Insecurity: Nightmares, spiritual torments, theft cases, loss of job, and other similar terrible things are not far from those who abandon God.

10. Lost Salvation: those that are strongly determined to abandon God forever will lose the salvation of Jesus Christ and will automatically lose Heaven.

Hebrew chapter 6 verses 4 to 6 says: “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.”

Please do not reject God despite any ‘disappointment’. The motivational Pastors always preach half-truth such as; “when you accept Christ there is enjoyment, money, food, shelter, Joy, Fruitfulness and all good things.” They don’t preach the other side of the coin.

Please don’t reject God if you experience ‘Suffering in Christ’:

Apostle Peter said: “But even if you should suffer for righteousness sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” (1Peter 3:14).

For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.” (1Peter 3:17).

Suffer means endurance, so everything about Christianity is not rosy.

Don’t abandon God when you meet ‘tribulations’ on the pathway of Salvation:

Jesus says: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The motivational Pastors kept this bitter truth from you… sorry about that.

There is no circumstance of life that justifies rejecting God as your LORD and Savior.
