Spiritual Dream: How to Interpret and Take Dreams Seriously!

Spiritual Dream: How to Interpret and Take Dreams Seriously!

Spiritual dream may be gentle or aggressive but the truth is that it disseminates important message to warn or get you prepared for a victorious journey.

Today’s sermon explains the types of dreams, how to get meaning to your dreams and how to identify a spiritual dream.

What is a Spiritual Dream?

Spiritual dream is a revelation that occurs during your sleep. It’s a medium that is used by GOD and the devil to interact with you. It is a medium for disseminating information to you and it’s also a battle field. Your soul and spirit are actively involved in spiritual dream.

When to Take Dream Seriously!

It’s not a big deal if you dreamt flying an aeroplane and you got crashed into the sea, swimming and shooting at your enemies if you’d watch an action movie the previous day!

Take your dream seriously if you do all the check-list and confirm that it was not the reflection of the previous day(s) activities, thoughts and imaginations.

Your soul is so powerful that it can store a lot of things you do including imaginations which could be re-played to your sub-conscious state when you are fast-asleep.

Is it Good to Believe in dreams?

Sensible dreams are not for everyone because it is not a spiritual gift to many. So, consider yourself to be among the favoured if you can sleep and wake up to narrate your dreams.

“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2:28)

I don’t joke with my dreams because they always come to pass. I can’t count all the advantages of dream because God uses it to tell me what would happen the next day or in the nearest future.

Yes, the devil and his demons come to attack with the intention to stop me from revealing his secrets to people, but they are always defeated by the power of the LORD who lives in me.

It is good to believe dreams if you are very sure it’s not as a result of your imaginations. Good or bad dreams prepare you for the challenge ahead and it guides you to know how to pray and actions to take during the day’s activities.

What to do after dreams?

1. Write your dreams in a designated book.

2. If it is either sweet dreams don’t be too excited or bad dreams don’t be overwhelmed with fear.

3. Many dreams require interpretation, so, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. I reluctantly recommend sharing with your Pastor because he might not be gifted to interpret, but when you pray to the LORD, He would tell you more about the spiritual dream.

4. Don’t procrastinate the obedience of God’s instruction you received through dreams.

5. Sweet spiritual dream does not encourage you to be spiritually lazy. Joseph’s dreams were enough for him to be lazy but he wasn’t.

Spiritual dream is another world of reality that is capable of influencing your physical world. Take dreams seriously and pray about it.

10 Sure Ways to Become Transformed by the Holy Spirit

10 Sure Ways to Become Transformed by the Holy Spirit

To be transformed by the Holy Spirit means a supernatural configuration of your body, soul and spirit. Spiritual transformation makes you have a share in God’s Glory.

Do you want to be famous like Moses, highly informed like the Prophets, powerful like Jesus Christ, rugged like the disciples of Jesus Christ, rich like Rebecca or rule the world like Joseph? Then your life must be transformed by the Holy Spirit today!

Not everyone who gives their life to Jesus is transformed. Why? Because they confess Jesus Christ as their saviour with their mouth, go to church regularly, pay tithes but refused to surrender everything about their body, soul and spirit to God for control.

Today’s sermon would teach you how to join the premium category of Christians who are transformed by the Holy Spirit.

Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of GOD. No one can comprehend everything about GOD and His Spirit except the few He reveals to us.

GOD is so powerful that His Spirit is actively present everywhere and not considering where His Being is enthroned.

Genesis chapter 1 verse 2 says: “The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

Jesus says: “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” (John 15:26)

The prophecy of Jesus as stated above means the Spirit of the LORD will be with us permanently unlike the Old Testament.

7 Preparatory Steps to Make You Transformed by the Holy Spirit

The book of Luke chapter 19 verse 1 to 10 narrated the story of Zacchaeus:

“…Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature.

So, he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him… And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”

So, he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully…Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold. And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house…””

Let’s use the story of the transformed chief tax collector as our guide:

1. Strive to know GOD and Jesus Christ

Read the Bible, attend Bible studies and hear from genuine servants of GOD.

2. Disallow Distraction and Procrastination

I am not surprise that anyone who seeks to be transformed by the Holy Spirit is always distracted, because it’s the strategy of the devil. Reject anything that would discourage you from moving closer to Jesus Christ.

3. Delight to be in the presence of Jesus Christ

4. Don’t be monotonous in your prayers but patiently hear from the LORD as well. Praise and Worship GOD.

5. Obey all the instructions of the LORD given through Jesus Christ. Obedience is paramount in the process of spiritual transformation.

6. Repent from all sins and do restitution where possible. Don’t live an active sinful life with the claims that GOD’s grace is abundant for you.

7. Always write about the Gospel of Jesus Christ on your social media platforms. Evangelism is not for a caucus but for everyone!

Why Must I be Renewed by the Holy Spirit?

To become transformed by the Holy Spirit is not magical and not for the lazy souls. You must be focused and faithful to the LORD because Christian race is not a sluggish one.

“Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” (Luke 13:23-24)

Scriptural references showed that glorious transformation would have effect on your; physical appearance, thoughts and spirituality.

The objective of GOD to get you transformed by the Holy Spirit is to make you be like Him. You cannot be GOD but HE expects you to imitate some of His Holy attributes.

Whenever anyone or a voice tells you that you cannot be like GOD, remember I told you that it is the voice of the devil.

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.’” (Leviticus 19:2)

10 Attributes that makes you transformed into Glory

Transformation involves moving away completely from the old sinful life to the new holy lifestyle controlled by the Holy Spirit.

1. Stop fornication and adultery and start self-control.

2. Cease idolatry practices and worship GOD only.

3. Quit sorcery and false prophets and always hear from the LORD.

4. Don’t hate your neighbour but love and pray for your enemies.

5. Replace selfish ambition with selfless service to humanity.

6. Dissociate yourself from heresies and stay firm in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

7. Stop drunkenness and start drinking plenty water.

8. Don’t fight but be gentle. Don’t watch boxing or wrestling but watch those little kids playing down the street…

9. Cease thinking about things of this world but start thinking about things in heaven.

10. Move away from laziness and excuses and commence a hardworking style with smart wisdom from the Holy Spirit.

By the grace of the LORD, I am transformed by the Holy Spirit and all the points I shared with you above are helpful to sustain my relationship with the LORD.

10 Powerful Acts in the Blood of Jesus You Must Know!

10 Powerful Acts in the Blood of Jesus You Must Know!

The Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross more than two thousand years ago was a powerful game-changer for the deliverance and salvation of everyone.

Today’s sermon would highlight some great works the Blood of Jesus does with scriptural references for your usefulness.

Why is the Blood of Jesus Christ so Significant?

After the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, the blood of animals without blemishes could not give a stable atonement for the sins of man. And God in His loving kindness wants us to be permanently free from all curses and sinful forces.

The only acceptable sacrifice to achieve this is a sinless soul and since everyone on earth are sinners, the Messiah had to come from heaven as prophesized and it was Jesus Christ who volunteered to come.

“And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals…

And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it…

But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to lose its seven seals.” (Revelations 5:1-5)

Jesus made it clear that He was not forced to be the living sacrifice for us:

“Therefore, My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (John 10:17-18)

The Blood of Jesus shed on the cross at Golgotha goes beyond an ordinary earthly sacrifice. Angels from Heaven came to perform the rites. The Devil and his demons knew that the Blood was an extraordinary one that shakes heavens, earth and under the earth.

“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised…” (Matthew 27:50-53)

4. No more influence of generational curse on you.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)” (Galatians 3:13)

5. Heals you physically, emotionally and spiritually.

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed.” (1Peter2:24)

6. Blood of Jesus gives you a meaningful life.

“Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53)

7. You’ll find it possible to defeat any battle.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11)

8. The Blood of Jesus upon you makes you heirs of His Kingdom.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus.” (Hebrew 10:19)
