The first thing that could come to your mind when you go through some disappointing situation is to stop praying. I know how terrible it is for someone to go through painful condition despite hours of prayers every day, but it does not change the fact that prayer is very important.

Jesus Christ encourages persistent prayers without rest: “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9)

Please I appeal to you not to stop praying during and after difficult times. You would overcome! One of the major reasons your prayer is not answered is because God’s timing and ways are different from yours. But, don’t give up on GOD because He would give you the best at the right time.

Jesus says: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so, you will be My disciples.” (John 15:7-8)
