The Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross more than two thousand years ago was a powerful game-changer for the deliverance and salvation of everyone.

Why is the Blood of Jesus Christ so Significant?

After the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, the blood of animals without blemishes could not give a stable atonement for the sins of man. And God in His loving kindness wants us to be permanently free from all curses and sinful forces.

The only acceptable sacrifice to achieve this is a sinless soul and since everyone on earth are sinners, the Messiah had to come from heaven as prophesized and it was Jesus Christ who volunteered to come.

“And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals…

And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it…

But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to lose its seven seals.” (Revelations 5:1-5)

Jesus made it clear that He was not forced to be the living sacrifice for us:

“Therefore, My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (John 10:17-18)

The Blood of Jesus shed on the cross at Golgotha goes beyond an ordinary earthly sacrifice. Angels from Heaven came to perform the rites. The Devil and his demons knew that the Blood was an extraordinary one that shakes heavens, earth and under the earth.

“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised…” (Matthew 27:50-53)

10 Mighty Things the Blood of Jesus Christ Does!

1. The only Sin-Eraser for your life.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)

2. An Escape Route for you from God’s end-time hot judgement.

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” (Romans 5:9)

3. The Blood of Jesus have the Power to Cleanse you and make you holy.

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1John1:7)
